Psalm 125, Trust in the LORD!

Psa 125:1, THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD ARE LIKE MOUNT ZION, WHICH CANNOT BE MOVED, BUT ABIDES FOREVER.

Those that truly know HIM, know that HE is always present, will never be moved! No storm (trial) will ever move the believer for HE is faithful to those that trust in HIS name!

Mat 7:24-25, “THEREFORE WHOEVER HEARS THESE SAYINGS OF MINE, AND DOES THEM, I will liken him to a WISE MAN WHO BUILT HIS HOUSE ON THE ROCK: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, FOR IT WAS FOUNDED ON THE ROCK.

Psa 125:2, As the mountains surround Jerusalem, SO THE LORD SURROUNDS HIS PEOPLE FROM THIS TIME FORTH AND FOREVER. 

HE is like the air around us; always present no matter where we go! HE is faithful, and will never leave nor forsake those that love HIM!

Deu 31:8, And the LORD, HE IS THE ONE WHO GOES BEFORE YOU. HE WILL BE WITH YOU, HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU; DO NOT FEAR NOR BE DISMAYED.” 

Psa 125:4, DO GOOD, O LORD, TO THOSE WHO ARE GOOD, AND TO THOSE WHO ARE UPRIGHT IN THEIR HEARTS. 

The Psalmist prayed that the LORD would do good to those who are good! YET, THE LORD DID GOOD TO THOSE THAT WERE NOT GOOD, BUT WERE IN THEIR SINS!

Rom 5:8, But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US. 

2Pe 3:9, … but is longsuffering toward us, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE. 

This is why HE sent HIS only SON to die on the cross of calvary for the sins of all! SALVATION IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE GIFT WE WILL EVER RECEIVE, BECAUSE IT COST HIM EVERYTHING!

Psa 32:2, BLESSED IS THE MAN TO WHOM THE LORD DOES NOT IMPUTE INIQUITY, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

HE is the ROCK of our faith, and in HIM we will never be moved! Trust in the LORD for HE is good, and soon we will see HIM face to FACE! BE READY!

Psalm 113, worthy to be praised!

Psa 113:2-3, Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forevermore! FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN TO ITS GOING DOWN THE LORD’S NAME IS TO BE PRAISED.

The LORD is worthy of continual prayer! If we knew all that HE has done for us we would be completely amazed!

Ecc 3:11b, …Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that NO ONE CAN FIND OUT THE WORK THAT GOD DOES FROM BEGINNING TO END.

Rom 11:33, Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! HOW UNSEARCHABLE ARE HIS JUDGMENTS AND HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT! 

Psa 113:4-5, The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high,

HE can’t be compared to anyone or anything! HE is the Creator of all, who knows all and sees all! THERE IS NO-ONE LIKE OUR GOD!

Jer 10:6, INASMUCH AS THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU, O LORD (You are great, and Your name is great in might), 

Psa 113:6, WHO HUMBLES HIMSELF TO BEHOLD THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE HEAVENS AND IN THE EARTH? 

The psalmist is amazed that GOD is exalted so high yet HE stoops down low to see and take care of HIS creation! HE ALSO SENT HIS ONLY SON, CLOTHED HIM IN FLESH, TO DIED ON THE CROSS FOR US! AMAZING LOVE!

Joh 3:16, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. 

Psa 113:7-8, He raises the POOR out of the dust, And lifts the NEEDY out of the ash heap, THAT HE MAY SEAT HIM WITH PRINCES—WITH THE PRINCES OF HIS PEOPLE.

HE takes the lowest of people and raises them up to sit with kings and rulers; EVEN THE KING OF kings and LORD of lords!

Eph 2:5-6, even when WE WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), AND RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS,

HE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!

Psalm 22, Crucified for us!

Psa 22:1-2, MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME? WHY ARE YOU SO FAR FROM HELPING ME, AND FROM THE WORDS OF MY GROANING? O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent. 

David indeed felt abandoned by GOD, yet these are the same words JESUS used on the cross of calvary! WE MAY NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SON, BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ETERNITY THE FATHER TURNED HIS BACK ON HIS OWN SON!

2Co 5:21, FOR HE MADE HIM WHO KNEW NO SIN TO BE SIN FOR US, THAT WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM. 

HE put on HIMSELF the sins of all mankind, and took the punishment, that was clearly meant for us, upon HIMSELF! The heavenly FATHER with his pure eye could no longer see his only begotten SON hanging on the cross!

Hab 1:13, YOU ARE OF PURER EYES THAN TO BEHOLD EVIL, AND CANNOT LOOK ON WICKEDNESS….

Psa 22:6-8, BUT I AM A WORM, AND NO MAN; A REPROACH OF MEN, AND DESPISED BY THE PEOPLE. ALL THOSE WHO SEE ME RIDICULE ME; They shoot out the lip, THEY SHAKE THE HEAD, saying, “HE TRUSTED IN THE LORD, LET HIM RESCUE HIM; LET HIM DELIVER HIM, SINCE HE DELIGHTS IN HIM!”

THE LORD JESUS, HUMBLED HIMSELF FROM THE “I AM” IN EXODUS TO “I AM A WORM”! HE HEALED THE SICK, HE RAISED THE DEAD, HE MADE THE BLIND SEE AND THE DEAF HEAR AND WE CRUCIFIED HIM WITH OUR SINS!

Heb 1:8, But to the Son He says: “YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER; A SCEPTER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS THE SCEPTER OF YOUR KINGDOM. 

JESUS SET ASIDE HIS GLORY, HONOR AND RIGTHEOUSNESS TO SAVE THE LOST! FOR WE WERE LOST IN OUR SINS, YET HE PURGE OUR SINS FROM US! IT IS BECAUSE OF OUR SINS THAT HE WAS CRUCIFIED ON THE CROSS!

Psa 22:16, For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. THEY PIERCED MY HANDS AND MY FEET; 

Dan 9:26, ..MESSIAH SHALL BE CUT OFF, BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF;

IT WAS FOR YOU THAT HE WAS CUT OFF!
