Psalm 119:81-96, HE is in control!

Psa 119:81-82, MY SOUL FAINTS FOR YOUR SALVATION, But I hope in Your word. My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, “WHEN WILL YOU COMFORT ME?”

Here the Psalmist is desperate, without any strength; YET he wants to be delivered by GOD, not man! BEING DELIVERED BY THE STRENGTH OF MAN ACTUALLY ROBS THE PERSON FROM A BLESSING OF GOD!

2Cor 4:8-9, We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed

Psa 119:86-87, All Your commandments are faithful; They persecute me wrongfully; HELP ME! They almost made an end of me on earth, But I did not forsake Your precepts.

Still waiting for help but living in faith, in accordance to HIS way! Never lose heart for the LORD’s hand is on the thermostat; shaping and molding the person he wants to see in you! It’s just the potter doing HIS work!

Isa 64:8, But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.

Psa 119:89, Forever, O LORD, YOUR WORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN.

HE who knows the end from the beginning! What HE has said, in HIS word will come to pass without fail! IT IS SETTLED!

Act 15:18, “KNOWN TO GOD FROM ETERNITY ARE ALL HIS WORKS. 

Isa 46:10, DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, And from ancient times THINGS THAT ARE NOT YET DONE, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ 

Psa 119:94-95, I AM YOURS, SAVE ME; FOR I HAVE SOUGHT YOUR PRECEPTS. The wicked wait for me to destroy me, BUT I WILL CONSIDER YOUR TESTIMONIES.

Are you HIS? Do you know the LORD? In trials never lose heart for HE is with you wherever you go!

Psa 27:13-14, I WOULD HAVE LOST HEART, UNLESS I HAD BELIEVED That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. WAIT ON THE LORD; BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART; WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD!

Psalm 14, All have sinned!

Psa 14:1, …THE FOOL HAS SAID IN HIS HEART,”THERE IS NO GOD.” THEY ARE CORRUPT, THEY HAVE DONE ABOMINABLE WORKS, THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD. 

About a month before my father passed, I asked him if he believed in GOD? He told me “ONE DAY I WAS SITING OUTSIDE LOOKING AT THE TREES, THE BIRDS, THE SKY, JUST EVERYTHING AROUND ME; THIS CAN’T JUST BE AN ACCIDENT”!

Rom 1:20, For since the creation of the world HIS INVISIBLE ATTRIBUTES ARE CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE, EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER AND GODHEAD, SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE,

My dad clearly saw the CREATOR through HIS creation! THERE IS NO EXCUSE, BUT THAT IS WHY DAVID CALLED THEM FOOLS!

Psa 14:2-3, THE LORD LOOKS DOWN FROM HEAVEN UPON THE CHILDREN OF MEN, TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY WHO UNDERSTAND, WHO SEEK GOD. They have ALL turned aside, They have together become corrupt; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, NO, NOT ONE.

Rom 3:23, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, 

ALL, EVEN BELIEVERS IN GOD, ALL HAVE CORRUPTED THEMSELVES, ALL HAVE FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!

Gal 3:22, BUT THE SCRIPTURE HAS CONFINED ALL UNDER SIN, THAT THE PROMISE BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST MIGHT BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE. 

GET OVER YOURSELF; YOUR NOT PERFECT, BUT HE IS! DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS?

Psa 14:7, OH, THAT THE SALVATION OF ISRAEL WOULD COME OUT OF ZION! When the LORD brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Isa 59:20, “THE REDEEMER WILL COME TO ZION, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the LORD. 

Psa 50:2, Out of Zion, THE PERFECTION OF BEAUTY, GOD WILL SHINE FORTH.  JESUS, THE REDEEMER, DID COME TO JERUSALEM AND HE IS COMING BACK AGAIN! BE READY! HE IS AT THE DOOR!

Psalm 11, HE IS STILL ON THE THRONE!

Psa 11:1-2, IN THE LORD I PUT MY TRUST; HOW CAN YOU SAY to my soul, “FLEE AS A BIRD TO YOUR MOUNTAIN”? For look! The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string, That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE DAVID; THE WICKED ARE COMING FOR YOU! BUT DAVID WAS A MAN OF FAITH WHO PLACED HIS LIFE INTO THE HANDS OF THE LORD ALMIGHTY!

Psa 11:4-5, THE LORD IS IN HIS HOLY TEMPLE, THE LORD’S THRONE IS IN HEAVEN; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. THE LORD TESTS THE RIGHTEOUS, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

David said, “WHY SHOULD I RUN FOR THE LORD IS STILL ON THE THRONE”! SO MANY PEOPLE TODAY ARE RUNNING IN FEAR; LEAVING THEIR CHURCH BECAUSE OF A VIRUS, BUT HE IS STILL ON THE THRONE! HE IS STILL WORKING WHY AREN’T WE?

Isa 35:4, SAY TO THOSE WHO ARE FEARFUL-HEARTED, “BE STRONG, DO NOT FEAR! BEHOLD, YOUR GOD WILL COME WITH VENGEANCE, WITH THE RECOMPENSE OF GOD; HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU.” 

Psa 11:6, UPON THE WICKED HE WILL RAIN COALS; FIRE AND BRIMSTONE AND A BURNING WIND SHALL BE THE PORTION OF THEIR CUP.

We are LIVING IN THE TIME OF THE END WHERE LAWLESSNESS IS INCREASING, AND THE FAITH OF MANY WILL GROW COLD (Matt 24:12)!

ALWAYS REMEMBER, THAT HE IS STILL ON THE THRONE AND HE IS STILL WORKING!

Psa 47:8, GOD REIGNS OVER THE NATIONS; GOD SITS ON HIS HOLY THRONE. 

Psa 97:2, Clouds and darkness surround Him; RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE ARE THE FOUNDATION OF HIS THRONE. 

BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE FOR WE ARE IN THE TIME OF THE END ARE IN NEED OF HIS STRENGTH! IT MAY LOOK GLOOMY AND SAD, BUT IF HE IS WILL US THEN WHY SHOULD WE RUN IN FEAR?

Psa 118:6, THE LORD IS ON MY SIDE; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?

Psalm 9, Rejoicing in HIM!

Psa 9:1-2, I WILL PRAISE You, O LORD, with my WHOLE HEART; I WILL TELL of all Your marvelous works. I WILL BE GLAD and REJOICE in You; I WILL SING PRAISE to Your name, O Most High.

The LORD is worthy to be praised not with just our lips, but with our life and in all we do!

Rev 4:11, “YOU ARE WORTHY, O LORD, TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER; FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS, AND BY YOUR WILL THEY EXIST AND WERE CREATED.” 

Psa 9:9, The LORD ALSO WILL BE A REFUGE FOR THE OPPRESSED, A REFUGE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE.

Times of trouble will come to all, but HE is our protection, HE is our redeemer! I HAVE SEEN THIS IN ACTION; FOR I WAS RELEASED BY THREE DIFFERENT COMPANIES, YET THE LORD RESTORED ME EACH AND EVERY TIME!

Psa 9:10, AND THOSE WHO KNOW YOUR NAME WILL PUT THEIR TRUST IN YOU; FOR YOU, LORD, HAVE NOT FORSAKEN THOSE WHO SEEK YOU.

Jer 17:7, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 

ONCE YOU HAVE AN EXPERIENCE WITH HIM, YOUR EYES ARE OPENED AND FAITH IS INCREASED! THESE ARE NOT JUST WORDS IN A BOOK, BUT PROMISES TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM! HE IS WILL KEEP HIS WORD!

Num 23:19, “GOD IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE, NOR A SON OF MAN, THAT HE SHOULD REPENT. HAS HE SAID, AND WILL HE NOT DO? OR HAS HE SPOKEN, AND WILL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD? 

DO YOU KNOW HIS NAME? DO YOU TRUST IN HIM? FOR HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!

Isa 26:3, YOU WILL KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON YOU, BECAUSE HE TRUSTS IN YOU. 

HE HONORS HIS WORD, HIS PROMISES, ABOVE HIS NAME (Psalm 138:2) FOR HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO COMPLETE THE WORK HE HAS STARTED IN YOU! HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!

Psa 9:14, … I WILL REJOICE IN YOUR SALVATION.

Psalm 8, Our BLESSED HOPE!

Psa 8:2, OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES AND NURSING INFANTS YOU HAVE ORDAINED STRENGTH, BECAUSE OF YOUR ENEMIES, THAT YOU MAY SILENCE THE ENEMY…

The LORD can even use little children to confound the wise priest or scribe!

AS THE CHIEF PRIEST AND SCRIBES SAW THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT JESUS DID, THEY WERE INCENSED WHEN THEY HEARD CHILDREN AROUND JESUS SAYING “HOSANNA TO THE SON OF DAVID!”

Mat 21:16, and said to Him, “DO YOU HEAR WHAT THESE ARE SAYING?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES AND NURSING INFANTS YOU HAVE PERFECTED PRAISE’?”

1Co 1:27, BUT GOD HAS CHOSEN THE FOOLISH THINGS OF THE WORLD TO PUT TO SHAME THE WISE, AND GOD HAS CHOSEN THE WEAK THINGS OF THE WORLD TO PUT TO SHAME THE THINGS WHICH ARE MIGHTY; 

Psa 8:3-4, When I consider Your heavens, THE WORK OF YOUR FINGERS, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, WHAT IS MAN THAT YOU ARE MINDFUL OF HIM, AND THE SON OF MAN THAT YOU VISIT HIM?

David can see the greatness of GOD in what he sees in the stars above! IF WE ONLY SEE THE MERE EDGES OF HIS GLORY AND WERE AMAZED AT THEM, who are we that HE would give us a mere glance? 

IT’S NOT WHO WE ARE BUT WHO HE IS! HE IS OUR LOVING, MERCIFUL FATHER, INFINITE IN STRENGTH AND GLORY, YET HE FEEDS EVEN THE BIRDS OF THE AIR! HE HAS VISITED US BY SENDING HIS OWN SON TO PAY FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS AT THE COST OF HIS OWN LIFE! HE IS THE LOVER OF OUR SOULS!

Joh 3:16, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. 

Psa 8:9, O LORD, OUR LORD, HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR NAME IN ALL THE EARTH! 

As David started, he also ended! HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR NAME IN ALL THE EARTH! NO MATTER WHERE WERE AT WE CAN ALWAYS SEE THE LORD BY WHAT WE SEE AROUND US! DO YOU KNOW HIM? DO YOU SEEK HIM? THE TIME OF HIS COMING IS NEAR AND WE WILL SEE OUR BLESSED HOPE FACE TO FACE! BE READY AND SEEK HIM!

Job 14, a tree has more hope than man?

Job 14:1-3, “MAN WHO IS BORN OF WOMAN IS OF FEW DAYS AND FULL OF TROUBLE. He comes forth like a flower and fades away; He flees like a shadow and does not continue. AND DO YOU OPEN YOUR EYES ON SUCH A ONE , AND BRING ME TO JUDGMENT WITH YOURSELF?

Job is saying, man is sinful from his youth; not one can be found that is perfect! Will YOU judge me according to my imperfection?  

Psa 51:5, Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. 

Job 14:4, WHO CAN BRING A CLEAN THING OUT OF AN UNCLEAN? NO ONE!

Rom 5:17, FOR IF BY THE ONE MAN’S OFFENSE (Adam) death reigned through the one, much more THOSE WHO RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL REIGN IN LIFE THROUGH THE ONE, JESUS CHRIST.

WHO CAN MAKE MAN CLEAN? ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST ARE WE MADE CLEAN; IT’S A GIFT FROM GOD FOR HE SHED HIS OWN BLOOD TO COVER OUR SINS!

Eph 1:7-8, IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE WHICH HE MADE TO ABOUND TOWARD US IN ALL WISDOM AND PRUDENCE,

Job 14:7, 10, “FOR THERE IS HOPE FOR A TREE, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease…. BUT MAN DIES AND IS LAID AWAY; INDEED HE BREATHES HIS LAST AND WHERE IS HE?

Remember, Job is speaking in complete agony, not just physical but also in his heart and mind! He appears to say, “A TREE HAS MORE HOPE OF COMING BACK TO LIFE THAN MAN?”  YET, job says this!

Job 19:25-27, For I know that MY REDEEMER LIVES, And He shall stand at last on the earth; AND AFTER MY SKIN IS DESTROYED, THIS I KNOW, THAT IN MY FLESH I SHALL SEE GOD, WHOM I SHALL SEE FOR MYSELF, AND MY EYES SHALL BEHOLD, AND NOT ANOTHER. HOW MY HEART YEARNS WITHIN ME!

In desperation a man or woman may contradict themselves, because they are grieving much more than they are thinking! JOB KNOWS THAT HIS REDEEMER LIVES AND WITH HIS EYES HE SHALL SEE JESUS STANDING ON THE EARTH! DO YOU KNOW THIS?
